A serial entrepreneur, he has worked as CEO of multiple startups, CTO of Pixelworks, GM of Samplify's Ultrasound BU and VP/GM of Toshiba's ASIC & Foundry BU.

Bob Uvacek's (PhD, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) innovations include acoustic beamforming for echo and noise cancellation ASICs at GN-Resound, pyscho-visual models for video brightness expansion in LED TVs at Dolby Labs, ASIC SoC ARM9/11 system designs for many customers at Toshiba America, a rapid prototyping platform with IBM CELL ICs for real time video algorithms at Pixelworks and ultrasound systems and models at Cephasonics.

2nd investor in Cephasonics and member of board of directors. Previously president of Angels by the Sea investment group and was CEO of CommerceNet, an Internet technology research group and incubator. He was a co-founder of Vizigy Interactive, an interactive video technology company and has successfully invested in a number of other tech startups. He also was WW director of Internet marketing and eCommerce for Hewlett-Packard.
