Company Summary

The company is an early stage startup. Our products will be a line of instruments and relative disposables, with a razor/razorblade business model. The technology has many arrows to its bow, and it will be used as the single core element for different markets (e.g. drug discovery, in vitro fertilization, biological research, and more).

Team

  • CEO and founder

    He has an interdisciplinary background: Masters in Physics and Biology, PhD in Electronic Engineering. Since 2001 he develops technological solutions for the Biosciences. He worked in applied research at Brown (RI-USA), Genova and Bologna Univ., managing students and research programs. Expertise in: electronics, optics, microfluidics, biology, software and modeling. Since 2013, he left academia to be fully committed to the CellDynamics Project.

  • Simone Pasqua
    COO and founder

    Age 28. He graduated in Biology in 2010. Through internships at ENEA and at the Molecular Toxicology Dept. at Bologna Univ., he gained a good experience in many different laboratory techniques, such as cell culture and microfluidics prototyping. He is developing the technology, and he is managing startup operations with good organizational skills and competences in project marketing. Since 2013, he is fully committed to the CellDynamics Project.
