Developed first ever commercial CE fuel cell generator based on metal hydride and compressed hydrogen. B.Sc (hons) from the University of Leeds, member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers.

Lead inventor of Cella hydrogen storage technology and head of a world-class scientific team from the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, London Centre for Nanotechnology at University College London (UCL) and Oxford University. Group Leader for four of the spectrometers at the ISIS pulsed neutron source. Published over 180 papers and technical reports.

Janet E. Petro began her professional career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army after graduating in 1981 from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science in engineering.
Currently, Petro is the deputy director of NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
