He has published in the field of optics and holds patents for these devices. He has worked as a project director and for companies such as eSight and Annidis and is the founder of Visual Optics Research.

Mr. Planas is a senior User Experience and Product Management specialist, with proven leadership abilities and advanced communication and motivational skills, with a record of delivering high value designs in different environments.
Miguel spent most of his career at Nortel Networks where he served as: User Interface Designer, User Interface Design manager, Product Line Manager, Director of Service Assurance Portfolio and Senior Project Manager.
