  • John joined the Cavidi board after leading a MBO in 2007. In 2009 the board appointed him as CEO to implement a management reorganization and new strategy for growth in sales and technology licensing. With over 25 years experience in sales and services management John has held senior management positions in Boston, Prague, and London. John holds a engineering degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School of Business.

    VP Global Sales & Marketing

    Responsible for global sales and distributor network. Before taking on global sales, served as Africa Regional Manager when he established Cavidi's subsidiary in Johannesburg, South Africa responsible for sales and operations throughout Africa. Prior to joining Cavidi, Fabio served as Business Developer for the Swedish Trade Council based in Johannesburg. He holds a degree in Marketing and Management from IHM Business School, Stockholm

    Clas co-founded Cavidi Tech AB in 1984. He remains with Cavidi AB today as a member of its board of directors, having previously served on Cavidi Tech AB’s board. With a PhD in Medical Virology, Clas is an Associate Professor of Medical Virology at Uppsala University and has authored more than 60 research publications.

    Tommy joined the Cavidi team in 1998. Over the last 15 years he has worked with quality control, production, and R&D at Cavidi. Tommy has a great depth of experience in the life science sector, having worked with Pharmacia Diagnostics and Sangtec Medical, among others. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology.

    Senior Scientist, Scientific Affairs Manager

    Ingvar brings a great depth of scientific knowledge to Cavidi. He is an associate professor of Medical Cell Biology at Uppsala University, and a researcher at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Karolinska Institute. Since 1998 he has worked with Cavidi in Quality Assurance, R&D, and Scientific Affairs. Ingvar conducted postdoctoral studies at Yale University.

  • Manager Quality & Regulatory Complaince

    Joined 2015. Quality professional with a M.Sc. degree in engineering and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification, with several years of experience from the medical device industry, working both globally and nationally at St. Jude Medical. Thorough knowledge and experience in quality engineering, quality assurance and various medical device regulations and standards, with a track record of problem solving, process improvements and quality compliance.

  • Operations Manager

    Joined Cavidi in June 2015, Senior Manager with 15 years of experience in Medical Device Industry. Key competence, Operations and Supply chain. Building up production for a new medical device from R&D to final product on the market. Scaling up production in Thailand and transfer of products and knowledge to Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and US. Working Experience from Volvo, Radi Medical Systems, Sandvik and St Jude Medical.

  • Systems Manager

    Joined 2014, MSc. in Engineering Physics, MSc. in Computer Science. 25 years of experience from complex development projects in life sciences and space business. Senior positions at GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthcare and Saab Ericsson Space.
