Catalyco is building a new and local zinc oxide supply chain by extracting ZnO from metallurgical industry waste. The global ZnO supply is around 5 billion euros. Fresh ZnO production is increasingly costly and the resource is limited, but the rubber industry has no alternatives. We reduce the consumption of natural resources, reduce the CO2 footprint and help companies to meet ESG targets. Our method is applicable also to CuO, CoO, and NiO.
