    President / CEO

    Jay was a R&D engineer at Bell Helicopters, where he contributed to the design of the V-15 tilting prop rotor. He then developed the first car to meet the original 1976 EPA emission level standards. In 1976, he founded Carter Wind Systems. In 1994, Mr. Carter founded Carter Aviation. He is a proven and experienced engineer, manager, and entrepreneur who has been involved in the aviation industry and a private pilot since 1967.

    Matt is the Special Advisor to Carter Aviation’s CEO. He is a private pilot and third generation Texas Tech University engineer, holding a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 18 years of business experience in the wind energy and aerospace industry.

  • Paul Redding
    Vice President

    Paul is the Vice President of Carter Aviation and has the primary responsibility of overseeing fabrication of all metal parts for prototype aircraft incorporating Carter Aviation’s SR/C™ Technology. Paul majored in business administration at the University of Denver and has been a single-engine fixed-wing and helicopter pilot since 1958.

    Engineering Manager

    Jeff is the Engingeering Manager of Carter Aerospace Development, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carter Aviation. He graduated from the University of Maryland with B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and has more than a decade of experience in the aerospace industry, to include experience in the areas of rotor design, prop design, composites, performance analysis and simulation, and CFD.

    Assembly Department Manager

    Chris brings a wealth of experience to Carter Aerospace Development, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carter Aviation, in his role as Assembly Department Manager, having previously worked in assembly, testing, and inspection at aerospace companies such as Triton Aerospace, Epic Aircraft Company, and Columbia Aircraft Manufacturing.

    Kerri attended Midwestern State University, graduating with a B.B.A. in Accounting. She also serves as Controller for Carter Aerospace Development, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carter Aviation. She has approximately fifteen (15) years of experience as Controller. Previously, Kerri worked as a Tax Manager, Tax Accountant and Staff Accountant. She has more than twenty (20) years’ experience in the areas of accounting and tax.

  • Hafizul "Fiz" Abdullah
    Avionics Department Manager

    Fiz obtained his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and has considerable experience in electrical systems / avionics, and, prior to joining Carter Aerospace Development, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carter Aviation, worked at Columbia Aircraft, Epic Aircraft, Quest Aircraft, and Triton Aerospace.

    Vice President / CLO

    Baron attended Texas Tech University, graduating with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems. He subsequently obtained his J.D. from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Baron is licensed to practice law in Texas and New York. Prior to joining Carter Aviation, Baron was in private practice where he worked alongside a host of industry-leading corporate clients in high-stakes and business-critical matters across the nation.
