He has been a combat Marine, and has founded, and operated infrastructure, residential construction, and timber businesses. While earning his MBA at the University of Hawaii, he was project lead on DARPA and NASA projects, and on comprehensive economic development projects in the Pacific.

A professional with over 30 years of domestic and foreign experience in the fields of land and business development. His work has included Directorships for DMJM Far East and Hawaii (now AECOM), market development for private businesses, and public sector program development .
