Kit’s experience includes 20 years as pioneer in the medical device industry in South Africa, contributing to Disa Vascular, Acorn Technologies, Lodox Systems, and Strait Access Technologies. Kit is a Fellow of the International Academy for Medical and Biological Engineering, and his degrees include a BSc in applied mathematics and physics (Rhodes), a PhD in musculoskeletal biomechanics (Iowa) and a DSc (Med) in biomedical engineering (UCT).

Founder and Non-Executive Director
Tania is Professor in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and Director of the Medical Imaging Research Unit. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and she holds a prestigious chair awarded by the NRF. Tania’s qualifications include a BSc in electronic engineering (UCT), a master’s degree in biomedical engineering (Vanderbilt), a PhD in bioengineering (Strathclyde) and an Executive MBA (UCT).

Chair and Non-Executive Director
Tessa Minter is Professor of Accounting at UCT and serves as Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Commerce. She has a BSc in applied mathematics, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant (CA). Minter served her articles with Arthur Young & Company, and also worked as an Investment Analyst for Old Mutual. She plays an active role in the continuing professional education of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
