Company Summary
Camness aims to empower everyone to help fellow drivers from the comfort of their homes. Users can upload their videos related to road conditions (potholes, bad stretch etc.), traffic violations, accidents and others on a map with location, time and date tags.
There are many advantages of such a database for drivers as well as government agencies. For drivers: they can get proof of who was at fault during an accident, they can plan their road trip and avoid bad stretches of road which are full of potholes, not laid properly etc. they can also report rash drivers, drivers who litter and roads which are dangerous, they can also keep an eye on the roads being built and how long the resurfaced roads are good for (to ensure that contractors are not cutting corners) and many others.
For government agencies: they can see potential risk areas i.e. where drivers violate traffic rules the most and ensure proper supervision, also keep an eye on various road projects going on and how they are being executed, find out potential dangerous intersections and resolve the dangerous situations, ensure that resources are used efficiently and use drivers to keep an eye on other areas.
