Company Summary
Calevia thermal therapy is a physical ablation modality designed to selectively destroy cancer tissue in a non-invasive manner without the side-effects and strong limitations of common therapeutic modalities such as surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The technology combines a tumor-specific ligand and the nanoparticle graphene which has the property to change light into heat instantly. It will be developed for several solid tumor types.

He is a named inventor on multiple patents in the biomedical field.
He holds a PhD degree in biochemistry from the Université de Montréal and has trained at the Washington University School of Medicine. -

After 10 years in the ranks of major pharma in Canada and in the USA, he joined BioCapital . He was involved in the creation, financing and management of several biotech companies. He was the president of BioChem Vaccines, leading to a major deal with GSK and with Intellivax acquired by ID Biomediacl. He then founded Innodia and now Calevia.
