We started the Busca Dental by a personal need.
As a dentist, I needed to call several stores researching for the best price of dental supplies, and never found all the products in the same store. We created the Busca Dental, a comparison dental supplies prices website. Originally, we direct dentists to stores registered on the site, but we found that the model CPC (cost per click) does not generate revenue for the company due to the low value and the population of dentists do not generate hits enough to generate adequate revenue. Thus, we decided to change the model to marketplace, where the dentist buys directly from the website and the stores gets a percentage of sales. This model seems most promising, because the amount of dental supplies sales, reaches millions of Real or Dollars per months and dentists do not work without materials, generating a continuous need to purchase. The best of this business and this niche model is that it can be applied and extended to any country , because everywhere there are dentists in need of dental supplies. Currently, we have two types of revenue: advertising and cpc . But we want to change the cpc to marketplace and intensify advertising with manufacturers. We have other ideas that can add new recipes. The website is ready, including the sales structure, with only a few details to improve the structure of the marketplace, but is ready for sales. Our initial goal is to achieve the physical stores because they do not have online sales serving as a tool for sale nationwide and after for online stores, that join, we will be an arm over sale.
