PROBLEM AND TARGET SEGMENT
Home improvement businesses with less than 20 employees are still run mainly with paper. This limits their capacity to grow revenue, erodes margins due to mistakes and pulling paper files, and it looks unprofessional to the consumer who expects to be served in the home with mobile and cloud technology. We target the subcontractors who sell and install doors & windows of which there are 26K+ of them in the US. These businesses have email and QuickBooks and BuildBeam replaces the paper in between. These businesses do a high volume of jobs per month and they need help in estimation & contracts, ordering from suppliers, scheduling, collaboration, and managing customer job status.
GO-TO MARKET STRATEGY
Our GTM strategy consists of selling subscription software via an Inside Sales model and will grow over time through two additional types of channel partners: 1. The manufacturers that supply the material to the subcontractors. 2. Technology providers who need BuildBeam to fill gaps. in their offerings. Marketing and awareness is achieved through social marketing, subcontractor referrals, and specific ad campaigns and articles about BuildBeam and customer success stories in trade media.

BUSINESS MODEL/MONETIZATION STRATEGY
The current business model is based on selling subscription software to subcontractor businesses. Pricing has 2 components: 1. One time setup fee ranging from $1,200-$3,000 and 2. Monthly subscription fee ranging from $250-$300 per month (not user based). The funding round will allow BuildBeam to get to scale in order to introduce multi sided revenue streams such as: subcontractor promotion/referrals, payment automation, dynamic discounting/finance, manufacturer-sponsored/white labeled UI
