Last year in the United States, imports of tilapia were at a record 375 million pounds. Most of these fish are grown in crowded conditions and treated heavily with antibiotics and other chemicals to help them survive. Buckeye Station will produce antibiotic and chemical-free fish. Buckeye Station will also take the waste from these fish and use it to grow organic, chemical-free fruits and vegetables for the consumer.
