Co-Founder & Chief Executive OfficerJonathan leads Briteseed’s overall business and patent strategy with his expertise in IP, entrepreneurial law, and bioengineering. Jonathan earned Doctoral degrees in Biomaterials Engineering and Nanotechnology from the University of Washington and a JD from Northwestern Law (cum laude). He has published over 15 peer-reviewed articles in the biomedical engineering field and earned a B.S. in Engineering from University of California, San Diego.

Co-Founder & Head of Business Development and OperationsMayank directs Briteseed's operations & go-to-market strategy. He has a wealth of experience guiding pricing and operations strategies at a Florida-based medical equipment company. Mayank graduated from Northwestern University (BS/MS) where he co-invented an MRI accessory to non-invasively diagnose polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and managed the project development of the device from simulations through animal and clinical feasibility studies.

David Mahvi, MDVP of Clinical AffairsDavid is the President of the Northwestern Medical Group and Chief of Surgical Oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is an international authority in the field of hepatobiliary cancer and has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles. David is widely regarded as a thought leader in the development of new biomedical devices and is bringing several revolutionary surgical devices to market.

Hariharan Subramanian, PhDVP of Research and DevelopmentHariharan earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University where he currently serves as a Research Professor. His work has led to significant advancements in optical sensing systems and modern optical microscopy, which in turn played a crucial role in the development of Briteseed's technology. Hariharan received his Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and has authored over 15 peer-reviewed articles.
