She has led and managed staff and volunteer teams for companies and events including the 2002 Olympic Games. In 2010, Hannah was selected as a Fellow at the UM Medical Innovation Center. She volunteers extensively for social services and arts organizations

    Dr. McCormick received her PhD in biomedical engineering and MS in electrical engineering from the Michigan Technological University. Her area of expertise is in designing sensors for medical devices. She has extensive experience developing medical device and equipment prototypes through her work at the UM Medical Innovation Center Prototype Lab.

  • Sabina Siddiqui
    Medical Officer

    Dr. Siddiqui is a board certified surgeon trained at the University of Tennessee and University of Michigan with 10+ years of medical experience, including acute care, critical care and trauma surgery. In recent years, she has traveled internationally on surgical volunteer teams to places such as Nicaragua, Kenya and Egypt with non-profit organizations providing clinical and humanitarian assistance.

    Douglas holds a PhD in Macromolecular Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan and uses his expertise in the medical device development as an analyst for venture capitalists, providing strategy and financing assistance to new ventures. He also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Univ. of MI Nanotechnology Institute for Medicine and Biological Sciences.
