Brava is developing a NextGen blood test for heart attack for emergency departments: a point-of-care high-sensitivity troponin test. New guidelines are driving the shift to these tests that can detect low concentrations of troponin sooner. Rapid rule-out enables safe discharge of low-risk patients, which eases crowding in the emergency department, reduces admissions, saves costs for the health system and improves patient satisfaction.
