Company Summary

We sell five models of commercial trucks that meet the needs of corporate fleets, government fleets, and smaller businesses. The moment is right for our trucks. Our trucks slash fuel costs by 80% , shrink maintenance costs by 75%, and cut emissions to zero. Our trucks have top speeds of 70 mph and travel 120 miles between charges. These differences are real- prove it yourself by driving our trucks and by measuring real performance.

    He oversees the Assembly Line Build Book and Engineering Change Order Procedures. He constructed BEV "Build Books" for the five assembly lines in our Colorado plant. This involves managing the flow of Engineering Change Orders going from prototype to full scale production. He has a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.

    In June 2008, he decided to build an affordable all-electric truck to service large delivery service fleets in the U.S. By June 2009, he had assembled a working prototype, road tested and ready for deployment.     He oversees the battery pack and battery management systems. He assembled lithium pouch cells and developed battery management hardware and software for lithium ion battery packs. He designed tooling and production layouts for battery module assembly and designed battery cooling systems for lithium ion batteries. He was a project manager for AC Propulsion, producer of the T-Zero Electric Vehicle, basis for the Tesla Roadster.

    Electric Passenger Shuttle Designer

    He oversees the engineering design team making passenger shuttles. He was Lead Design Mechanical Engineer at Proterra, the electric transit bus company. He is currently the lead product development engineer for BEV's larger delivery truck. He will be implementing a "Plan for Every Part" strategy for bills of materials and timely material handling. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Colorado State University.

    Director of Quality/Design Engineer

    He oversees the full quality process to ensure all vehicles meet customer requirements, including outsourced components, internal components, and all quality checkpoints. Approves BEV engineering change orders. At Solix Biofuels Engines and Energy Conservation Laboratory, he developed standard operating procedures and developed quality control methods with the biology group.- BS, Mechanical Engineering, Colorado State University.

  • John Kunz
    Composites Expert

    He developed proprietary low-weight/high strength decks used in BEV trucks and oversees their production and improvement. For 37 years, was principal director in designing and producing honeycomb fiberglass products -including solar concentrators, the world's first fiberglass honeycomb bridge, the Mars Habitat , honeycomb fiberglass domes that cover city waterworks facilities, and a monocoque fiberglass honeycomb racing car chassis.
