Company Summary

Bone-Rad's first product, Spine-Rad, will treat vertebral tumors. The current treatment for vertebral tumors is kyphoplasty to strengthen the bone followed by 10-20 visits for external radiation therapy to kill the tumor. Spine-Rad Brachytherapy Bone Cement both strengthens the bone and kills the tumor in one step. External radiation therapy is not required, eliminating the associated side effects and expense, and improving patient QOL.
