Company Summary

Boleo’s switch is a disruptive technology and is 2.5 times greater in bandwidth than any other competing technology. 5G is driven by Internet of Things which will result in 50 to 100 billion connections in the near future. 5G is simply more bandwidth for faster data speeds and more access points for improved connectivity. Our technology will enable consumers to access multiple spectrums simultaneously with higher data speeds at a lower cost.

Team

  • Dr. Stoneham has an A.B. in Physics from U.C. Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Xi and a Senior Member of the IEEE. He is the author of more than thirty publications and holds eighteen U.S. patents. Other skills: designing millimeter-wave MMICs, developing packaging technologies, and contributing to the core of transceivers and other millimeter-wave subsystem products.

  • Mr. Lucero’s experience in sifting through “wish buckets” and finding the minimum viable product is the core for the development of novel devices - a free-space optical MEMS switch, a “through-the-substrate” MEMS relay, a microelectromagnetic actuator for MEMS relays, and a surface-mount package for RF devices that maximizes signal integrity. The last two items are in the provisional patent stage and will become proprietary technology for Boleo.
