BOLD was established to fill a void in the growing demand for gluten-free, dairy-free and organic food products that are bold in flavor and that consumers enjoy eating. In January 2012, BOLD launched its initial product line with 4 frozen pizza varieties, and BOLD has since sold over 190,000 pizzas through its distribution network of 1,750 natural food and supermarket chains. The Company’s products have garnered significant critical acclaim.

    Aaron is responsible for all ongoing business activities, as well as the Company's creative direction. Aaron identified an underserved market and developed BOLD's business plan while studying at the Olin Business School at the University of St. Louis. Shortly thereafter, Aaron connected with Eric Brenner and developed BOLD's initial product line over the ensuing 3 months.

    Chief Culinary Officer

    Chef Brenner, a restaurateur, chef and consultant with over 20 years in the food and restaurant industries, is respojnsible for new product development and public relations. Chef Brenner was voted Chef of the Year in St. Louis in 2008, and his MOXY Contemporary Bistro, which featured gluten-free breads and an allergen-free menu, won Restaurant of the Year in St. Louis during that same year.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Justin is responsible for managing all treasury, operations, logistics, production and financial planning and reporting functions. Justin, a registered CPA, CFE and CISA, was a financial statement auditor at Anders Minkler & Diehl LLP. Justin earned his BS in Accounting from Purdue University and his MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.

  • Sasha Sherman
    National Sales Manager

    Sasha is responsible for managing the Company's network of over 100 brokers, as well as maintaining and developing relationships with current and prospective distributors and retailers. Sasha is a former entrepreneur, having founded 2 specialty retail businesses. Sasha earned his BS in Marketing, HR Management, Economics and Strategy from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
