Tavia Burke is a native of Jamaica and an aspiring entrepreneur. She presently resides in Silver Springs, MD and is currently in pursuit of her Masters degree in Business Management and Leadership from CUNY SPS. Ms. Burke was awarded a full- athletic scholarship to Bethune-Cookman University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Charlene Alexis hails from the beautiful twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago and has acquired extensive experience in domestic and international sales and distribution. As the former Director of Sales and Distribution for Kandy Karibbean LLC, she helped the company achieve record sales of 2 million units.

Born and raised in Togo, Mr. Kpostra spent the past few years as the Senior Marketing Analyst for a top International firm.  He is highly fluent in the languages of French, English, Spanish, and Ewe.  All of which are great assets to push our line of candles into international markets.

Ruqayyah Shabazz is an aspiring entrepreneur from Brooklyn, New York. As part of a College Now program at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Ms. Shabazz learned how make her own fragrant lotion out of paraffin wax and natural fragrance oils. Since then, Ms. Shabazz has experimented with a variety of different wax and fragrance types before discovering the benefits and usefulness of soy wax, hence the creation of BODI~CANDLES.
