Company Summary
BVT is in the business of innovating lifesaving devices and techniques that address shortcomings in vascular access procedures and applications. BVT’s first product is the Surfacer(r) Inside-Out(tm) Access System, a catheter system that provides central venous access from the inside-out. There is a substantial but unreported number of patients with blocked venous access thus jeopardizing live saving therapies such as dialysis, chemo, and nutrition.

Dr. Coleman brings 30 plus years in the medical device business spanning startups, turnarounds and IPOs. Bob recently retired back in his native Kentucky and has been instrumental in launching BVT. He holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Morehead State University and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee. He is on the board of publically traded Masimo and founded a cancer diagnostic startup in Irvine, CA.

Gabi has more than 25 years of experience in the development and commercialization of medical devices. Previously, Gabi was SVP at ENTrigue Surgical and was with Concept to Market Medical. Gabriele has a Post-Doc in Orthopaedic Biomechanics at UTHSCSA, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from ISU, a Masters of Science in Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering from ISU, and a Bachelor of Science from Clemson University.
