In 2016, Filip was named as Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 in Enterprise Technology. In 2011 and 2012, assisted other companies to launch successful location-based software applications. Previously held a range of banking and financial roles, including at BT Financial. From 2009, undertook a B. Economics and a B. International Studies from University of Adelaide. Has also undertaken studies in law and holds a Diploma in Information Technology.

David's past roles include: Senior Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank, Founding CFO of PayPal (raising private equity financing totalling $140 mil and resulting in a $680 mil valuation). After PayPal, David was CFO of Nokia’s venture capital fund, which was later re-branded as BlueRun Ventures. Under his leadership, assets under management increased from $150 million to $1 billion in six years.

He is a highly experienced Software Development Manager who relies on the strong technical understanding of various technologies and Hands-On management style to lead from the front and deliver substantial return on investment for the organisations.
