Company Summary

We focus on the human exploration of extreme environments (space, ocean, altitude, polar). Why? Because our expeditions provide tremendously valuable story-telling platforms for our clients, including brands seeking sponsorship opportunities and media outlets seeking unique content. We earn fees to develop each project and to conduct the expeditions, as well as back-end royalties on content and IP licensing.

  • Guillermo Söhnlein
    Co-Founder & CEO

    Guillermo is a seasoned entrepreneur, explorer, submersible pilot, and expedition leader. He is an active member of The Explorers Club and the Deep Submersible Pilots Association. He is also Founder & Chairman of the Sea-Space Initiative, as well as Founder & Chairman of the Advisory Board of Space Angels Network.

  • Scott Parazynski, MD
    Co-Founder & President

    Scott is a former NASA astronaut with 5 space flights and 7 EVAs to his credit. He is currently the only human to have flown in space and also summited Mt. Everest. He is an experienced pilot, scuba diver, mountaineer, and polar explorer.

  • Kenneth Broad, PhD
    Explorer-in-Residence

    Kenny is an environmental anthropologist with the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences. He is an expert cave diver and was named National Geographic's "Explorer of the Year" in 2011.

  • Brienna Henwood
    Chief Marketing Officer

    Brienna is an experienced marketing, sales, and operational executive working with clients in the space and aviation training industries. She is a passionate explorer and certified master diver.
