A recent study by Arbitron Media Research tested the recall rate of various forms of advertising. Newsprint advertising had a 9%, radio a 12%, television between 17-22%, and finally bathrooms a 60% recall rate. The problem is that traditional advertising has a low recall rate, is fragmented, and is expensive. Blue Arc Media will provide advertising using a cost per impression which will appeal largely to its target customer: small businesses.
