23 years experience with taking a technology from start-up to acquisition. Co-founded US Biotex in 1991, and key in development, operations, marketing and exit via acquisition in 2014. Founded 3Gen Scientific in 2001, a specialty product developer for the life-science industry. Holds a CBA at UK's Gatton College of Business and Economics, 2 patents and is president of the Central KY Inventors Council.

Steve has 32+ years experience with Texas Instruments that includes product development, quality assurance and manufacturing process development and troubleshooting. Experience includes bringing electronic controls from the development stage to the manufacturing floor, developing special manufacturing processes, influencing design for manufacturability, and working with manufacturing partners. Steve also serves as an instructor at Univ. of KY.

Dan is the Associate Professor of Electrical and Comupter Engineering at Univ of KY. Previously a DSP engineer at Aware, Inc, and an image and signal processing engineer at LLNL. Dr. Lau is the author of Modern Digital Halftoning, CRC Press, 2nd ed. Research includes 3-D imaging sensors, 3-D fingerprinting indentification, and multispectral color acquisition and display. Holds a BS in electrical engineering / Purdue, and a Ph.D. / Univ of DE.
