Company Summary

BBA has been dedicated to raising the standards of Urban Cinema, and seeks to offer an alternative to the "black experience" by mixing common urban themes with different genres. For example, our coming-of-age comedies are written for and by African-Americans but with a "John Hughes" spin on them. As for our film, "Trapped," it was written specifically in the "neo-noir" genre, an updated style of the 1940's movie mystery classics.
