We are a Brooklyn, NY-based, New Generation purveyor of locally sourced, direct trade, organic, modern lifestyle food products. Our first products to market were our shelf-stable, jarred salsa inspired by world flavors. We are now expanding to chips and a chunky line of salsa. We target the taste makers of NYC where small, local trends in Brooklyn are finding their way into mainstream America and capturing the attention of the world.

    CEO / CoFounder

    Rob heads business development, sales, and management. His background includes work as an Account Executive for online contextual advertising companies such as Marchex. He was the number 1 inside salesperson in generated revenue. At Firstlight ERA, Mr. Behnke sold $1.2 million of online advertising within a year’s time. Mr. Behnke put himself through college going door to door, selling vinyl siding and windows.

    Creative Director / CoFounder

    Matt leads the vision and flavor of The Company, combining his diverse career backgrounds to create and manage taste in the areas of product development and brand direction. His culinary background started in the back of a small taqueria at the age of 14 and quickly expanded to encompass all aspects of the organic and natural food industry working on a farm, in a co-op, and as a restaurant and catering chef.

  • Casey Gilbertson
    Director of Operations

    Casey manages all elements of our Direct Trade relationships and operations. He is in charge of shipping and receiving, deliveries, warehouse activity, and handles all elements of ingredient sourcing during the manufacturing process. Mr. Gilbertson comes to us with extensive knowledge working with perishable goods, warehouse management, communication with farmers on an international level and a Midwest work ethic that is second to none.
