Peter has a degree in engineering physics and is a serial entrepreneur. Prior to Shelfie, he was a co-founder at Aquatic Informatics, a company he helped grow to over 100 employees with customers in 40 countries. Peter used his exit from Aquatic Informatics to fund the early days of Shelfie.

Marius has a PhD in computer vision and previously worked on the PR2 at Willow Garage. As part of his thesis, Marius implemented FLANN into OpenCV.

Mary Alice has a Masters in Publishing and is a publishing nerd with a keen interest in digital innovation for the industry. Prior to Shelfie she worked in sales at Douglas & MacIntyre (the largest independent publishers in Canada).

Sancho has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia. During his PhD Sancho interned twice at Google on the YouTube team and worked on recognition of objects in videos.
