Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, he co-founded KTM Industries Inc. a firm that produces biodegradable packaging materials. This provided ample experience on start-ups. Igor PastirkCTO
PhD in 2002 from MSU working in the Dantus Research Group and joined BSI in 2004 as its first and only employee until 2006. Pastirk worked on the implementation of the MIIPS technique and wrote the software for the MIIPS systems. Successfully completed Phase I and Phase II STTR projects funded by Army Research Office (2004-2008). He leads and oversees development, production, sales and marketing of MIIPS-based ultrafast pulse shapers.
