He is admitted to practice in New York and Virginia and had a twenty-one year career with American Express Company, sixteen of which were in the General Counsel’s Office. Mr. Gilbertson also served as the general manager of the U.S. Government Travel Card Unit for five years.

Rick has spent over 35 years in the financial services industry specializing in market development, sales and operational solutions to complex business issues. He spent seventeen years with Citigroup, most recently as Senior VP, Marketing & Sales within Citigroup’s Institutional Client Group. Prior to this position, he was employed in the Citigroup Private Bank, where in 1999 he assisted the launch of Citibank Online as head of Alliance Marketing

He is proficient in Product Development from Design, Budgets, Data Migration, Security, Performance Tuning, QA, Documentation and Customer Support.

The architecture and implementation of a SAAS cloud, integration and data analytics. He is an author and experience in: Integration, Java, Mule, MongoDB, Groovy, Grails, Javascript, Spring, Spring Roo, Hibernate, Hibernate Search / Lucene,Esper CEP, Akka, Drools, Geospatial, iOS, JMS, HornetQ, Unix, Linux, LDAP, and Sendmail.

Dwayne was educated as an Electrical Engineer but converted to Software Engineering while working in Greenland on the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) project. Since then he has worked on multi-modal biometrics, developing operating systems, numerous signal processing products for the DOD, video games at Milton Bradley, iPad/Android apps and laser imaging.
