    Dr. Davis has extensive operational experience working as an executive and/or founder in six medical device start-ups. He has previous experience in gaining FDA and CE Mark clearance for nine devices, has successfully commercialized several of these medical devices, took his last company public and has overseen multiple exits. Additionally, Dr. Davis is experienced in building sales teams and launching full international sales rollouts.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Shuchi "SK" Khurana has fourteen years of experience in various fields including technology commercialization, product management, new product development, business development and marketing. Prior to Bioceptive, he was managing a portfolio of six products and a multi-million dollar R&D program.

    SK holds two masters degrees, MBA and MS from The Ohio State University, and a B.Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.

  • Benjamin D. Cappiello
    Chief Scientific Officer

    Benjamin is a biomedical engineer and graduate of Tulane University. He is the inventor of the Bioceptive Inserter.

    Ben has done research in the laboratory of the renowned adult stem cell bioengineer, James L. Sherley, MD, PhD, and wrote his thesis, Analysis and Automation of the Quantification of Asymmetric Self Renewal Kinetics of Human Hepatic Stem Cells, based upon his research there.
