BCDx (Est. 2014) is developing a novel Diagnostic Assay Kit for the Hepatic C viral load assay. HCV diagnostics is a $12 Billion global market opportunity. BCDx’s platform technology enables the assay to be 80% cheaper while reducing testing time by 90% as compared to market alternatives. Through an ongoing collaboration with the CDC and international clinical and regulatory partners, BCDx intends to finalize clinical development, complete CE-IVD approval by 2017, and pursue a revenue model of regional licensing and distribution in emerging markets by 2018. BCDx will complete US PMA in 2019 before seeking series A and B financing. BCDx intends to continue further product development process for HBV, HPV, HIV, MERS other emerging infectious diseases by using its platform technology, called GoldQuant™.
