Ken Abe is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Previously, he was a fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Ken Abe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human physiology and metabolism from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master of Science degree from Georgetown University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University.

Kara Foshay is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Chicago. Dr. Foshay has been honored with a NRSA Postdoctoral Research Grant, a NRSA Predoctoral Research Grant, and numerous awards for presentations and research. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the College of William and Mary and a Ph.D. in cell biology from Georgetown University.

Megan Janssen is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health. She recently completed her Ph.D. here in the Department of Pharmacology. She has earned awards for academic performance and research in addition to a NIDA Training Grant from the National Institutes of Health. She has had numerous scientific papers published, and graduated magna cum laude from Susquehanna University with a BS degree in biochemistry.

Since 2008, Sascha Krone has worked as a senior consultant at Lufthansa Consulting in Cologne, Germany. He is responsible for acquisition and restructuring start-up projects for various international airlines, and for organization and process optimization. Mr. Krone studied law, politics, and philosophy at the University of Cologne.
