Company Summary
Bio Energy Spectrum Solutions will build biocrude plants utilizing industrial/municipal waste water (secondary sludge) as feedstock, and to sell sub-license agreements. Biocrude is oil extracted from Oleaginous Microorganisms which consumes wastewater (secondary sludge). Our customers are cities with the need to dispose of sludge and biodiesel producers who need low cost feedstock. We can own and operate Biocrude plants or sell sub-licenses.

Has been actively involved over the past 9 years in research to transform the process for the disposal of municipal and industrial sewage into a bio-refinery for the production of a diesel feedstock. Published 30+ publications and obtained one US patent. Managed over $5 million dollars in research grants.

Rafael HernandezLead Chemical Engineer
has a BS (1993) and MS (1995) in chemical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez, and a PhD (2002) in chemical engineering from Mississippi State University (MSU), Mississippi State, MS. He worked for the US Army Corp of Engineers Engineering Research and Development Center (1994-1997) on the development, design, and implementation of groundwater treatment technologies.
