    S. Claiborne Johnston, MD, PhD, is Associate Vice Chancellor of Research, Professor of Neurology and Epidemiology, and Director of the Clinical & Translational Science Institute at UCSF. Long involved in improving healthcare information, Dr. Johnston is the initiator of the Bigevidence concept and is its Chief Medical Officer.
