Better Motion Group (BMG) transforms knowledge into better products and services. BMG designed and manufactures the p44 Stepper––the only portable resistance device used from a chair or wheelchair for clinically proven leg strengthening––and uses the device in the pFIT mobile fitness service. pFIT is offered in residential care facilities and older adult centers to improve strength, balance, mobility, and social interaction for $10 per class.

    President

    Steven graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1982. He spent the first 20 years of his professional life in the petrochemical industry, including patenting a leak detection system. In 2002 he switched industries, becoming Engineering Manager for the first of three different Tier 1 automotive parts suppliers ranging in size from $50M to $600M in annual sales. In 2006 he founded Better Motion Group.

    Business Development Manager

    Andrew graduated from York University with a BA in Professional Writing in 2010, having spent a few years juggling his role at Better Motion Group with finishing his degree part-time. After the York University-run p44 Stepper research study led to the creation of the pFIT group strength training program, Andrew obtained his Seniors Fitness Instructor certification and runs day-to-day operations of pFIT throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
