Raj is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years experience in the healthcare industry. He started his career in front-line clinical practice as a respiratory therapist before developing his business leadership skills. Prior to joining BCS, Raj led the healthcare practice at NCR Canada. He has also held sales / business development roles at Cerner Corp, xwave Healthcare, and GE Healthcare. He graduated from The Michener Institute and U of T.

Dr. Parshuram is the CSO and a founding member of BCS. He is a practicing paediatric physician at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and is the inventor and driving force of BCS’s flagship product, Bedside Paediatric Early Warning System (BedPEWS.)
In addition to his roles at SickKids and BCS, Dr. Parshuram is a senior scientist in the SickKids Research Institute and an associate professor at the University of Toronto.

Amit brings over seven years experience in the management and development of early-stage technologies. His expertise include; operational activities in start-up ventures, building investment cases, developing commercialization strategies, assembling strategic partnerships, negotiating contractual terms and establishing intellectual property strategies.
