Company Summary

Basa is a platform that allows beauty salons to LIST and PROMOTE (in real-time) LAST MINUTE SCHEDULE GAPS to potential customers with temporary price reductions and allows users to find a specific beauty service that perfectly fits their tight SCHEDULE and BUDGET.

Our platform would create a digital marketing channel, not currently in existence, to help salons more effectively reach the customers they need to attract in order to survive.

Team

    Yulia is a marketing and sales strategist who spent her early career at GfK, leading the team that built out the capability to track and analyze market data of the babycare segment in Russia, an experience that will serve her well as she crafts a strategy to drive customer adoption of Basa’s platform.
    She later moved to Oracle where she coordinated sales teams and implemented sales strategies aimed at growing its customer base.

  • Co-founder, Director of IR, FP&A

    Matthew moved to Moscow, Russia in 2010 where he launched Executive English Solutions, a B2B ESL company which sought to disrupt English language training by pairing technology and a Khan Academy-esk flipped-classroom model.
    In 2016 Matt returned to the U.S. to pursue an MBA at Kelley School of business where he focused on Marketing and Finance and graduated in May of 2018.
