Recent ventures in specialty foods, multi-channel retail, and Emmy-winning TV shows led to her passion for local food movement and founding Barnraiser. She has spoken at TEDx, SXSW, James Beard and more to promote Barnraiser and celebrate today's heroes of the new food economy.

    John Merrells is a seasoned and versatile technical leader with experience from startups to enterprise-system exits; from software architect to founder; from massively scalable server systems to mobile apps. He performs diligence for acquisitions and fundraising. For Barnraiser, he oversees all architectural, platform, planning and development decisions in order to balance short, medium and strategic decisions for the company's platform.

As President of Lucy Activewear, she led a digital and retail turn-around, leading a team of 450. As Global SVP for the $1B Levi’s Women’s business, she developed product and brand strategies while leading teams in 6 countries.
