BarkatBazaar is an online marketplace of products representing ethnic artforms of India in Bed Linen, Home-linen, apparels, footwear and more, sourcing them directly from the artisans/women owned businesses across India. Currently, we have 60+ sellers onboard, representing 26 Indian heritage handmade artforms. Our revenue driver is ethnic handmade bed-linen (labelled as BarkatBazaar) and have recorded a 70% repeat customer rate in Bed-Linen.

    With over 15 years of experience working with buying and export houses, I founded Barkat in 2014. Slowly adapted and transformed into an online marketplace. I love hunting for Indian Handmade Artworks and bringing their stories alive again.

    Co-Founder

    Ex Supply Chain Manager at TRF and Ex Head of Supply Chain (at the age of 24) at Base Corp., an INR 700Cr. company. Samrat currently heads the Supply Chain, Marketing and FInance. A guy who believes in his mission and follows his passion.
