Oxtex has developed a novel self-inflating tissue expander for the primary use in plastic surgery where such devices are used to repair skin defects. The Oxtex device has applications in many areas of plastic surgery, as well as the veterinary market. Successful tissue expansion using the Oxtex product is a significant improvement over currently existing devices, namely because of its controlled, self-expanding properties and versatile size.
