Under a pilot to validate this business concept, Banyan has supplied 1820 tons of cotton stalk to 4 large cement makers. It can be sustainably scaled up in coming years to 300,000 tons/year. Banyan is seeking investment of ₹ 1.6 crores. Project will generate over 3500 rural jobs and benefit ~90,000 rural farmers.
