It leverages emerging technologies to build a bridge between the banked and those that are unbanked and connects excluded communities to the greater financial system. Our mobile app allows users to easily store cash, instantly receive and send money and safely pay for goods and services anywhere in the world from their mobile devices.

    Moataz Alobaid is the visionary and founder of Bankey and is based out of Washington, D.C. USA. He is an User Experience Designer with background in business development and engineering. He is passionate about leveraging innovative technology to design user-centric solutions that solve big problems and meet people's needs, especially in developing countries. He is currently an IT Officer at The World Bank.

    CFO

    Graduated in Economics in 2017 and have worked for Heineken and the Worldbank. He has been in charge of developing Bankey´s business strategy and the financial model.
