Bamboo Science Group is Gregory Egan- a 30+ year R&D professional with solar, hydrogen and cryogenic systems background and Rom McGuffin a Ph.D in aerospeace engineering with NASA and Industry experience.

    Greg is an alternative energy entrepreneur that has started companies in the solar, hydrogen and cryogenic fields. He has an undergraduate degree in fine art and attended NYU graduate school of Applied Science. Greg has five US patents and numerous publications. He has developed pioneering equipment for NASA and US and foreign companies. Greg started Brehon Energy a hydrogen fuel and cryogenic company that was sold to Eden Energy, Australia

  • Rom McGuffin
    Engineer

    Rom has a PhD in combustion engineering from the University of Colorado, a MS from CalTech and a BS from Texas A & M.
    At New Vista Research he developed a hydrogen/oxygen reactor for steam generation to recover oil from depleted wells.
    Rom has worked for NREL and was a National Research Council fellow at the Naval Electronics School in Monterey.CA.
    Rom has developed biomedical devices, thermo-electric cooling systems and many research systems.
