I was in IDEA WF in 2018 and made it to the final six. I have paid for a market analysis on the product and have professional art work of the seat as well as a prototype. I have a provisional patent of the design. I am working with the SBDC at MSU and have a business plan. I also have made contact with a professional marketing company who will market the seat.

    Having a combined 18 years experience in the Military as a Corpsman and as a Paramedic after leaving the Military, I have had a lot of exposure to gun shot wounds. I have also used many types of ballistic devices both in the military and as a civilian paramedic. I have seen a need for ballistic devices specifically designed for use by civilians given the number of active shooter incidents we have seen in the past few years.
