Hi,
My Name is Cesar Garcilazo, 35 years old, and I am a Computer Engineer with 12 years of exeperience in the IT industry, currently working as Project Manager for Infosys Mexico. I also have the PMP certification from the PMI, ITIL foundations certification and have attended training on six sigma green belt. My objective to start my own company is to have financial freedom, contribute to the Mexican society, be able to create new jobs and grow as a human being.
One of my projects is Balab.com.mx, which is a job board focus on providing a better alternative to the companies to find the right human resources by posting their job opportunities at an excelent price.The job search is a permanent need in the society, always there are people looking for a better oportunity and companies looking for the right person with a set of skills and experience. As part of the business plan, Balab also will focus on the teenagers sector and through a set of courses and activities will help them to identify their talents in order to allow them develop them and have a great professional life.
The other project is Mercante.com.mx, which is a web site focus on allowing the customers to post realstate ads in order to sell/rent their properties. This portal is going to take advantage of a permanent need in our society that is the need of having a home, shelter for your family.
In Mexico there are several portals that are focused on these two businesses but these are markets that are growing and have a constant demand so of course there is room for these two portals. Even the newspaper la Jornada will start their ads portal in a couple of months.
For the last 2 years I have been trying to make them work and I also have changed the business model a couple of times having resonable results but the short budget that I have had (around$150,000 MXP) has not help to continue with the projects. This week I have restarted a marketing campaing in the online site of a newspaper named La Jornada (jornada.unam.mx) and also on google adword, even though the results show an increase in the site visits the main conclusion is that a bigger budget is needed in order to compete with web sites like occ.com.mx, bumeran.com.mx, metroscubicos.com.mx and also in order to invest 100% of my time.
I would really like to work with you in order to make these portals bigger and have a benefit for both sides.
