Company Summary

Everybody wants more fuel efficient vehicles: to achieve this we must reduce vehicle weight, but we must do this in a way that keeps the cars affordable (low cost). Axon has a way to do this using their patented technology to make low cost carbon fibre structures. Prototypes have been produced. Larger production facilities are needed. Typical customers are vehicle manufacturers (particularly from Asia).

In 1989 joined the Honda Research Centre at Cranfield University. Led programmes for Volvo, Alcan, Lotus, Honda Ford, Caterham QinetiQ, McLaren and suppliers.

    Engineering

    responsible for whole vehicle design and manufacture and has extensive experience in the Automobile sector. He started by leading major research programmes for BWM and Rover Group. The programmes encompassed aluminium, steel and composite components, including carbon fibre composite components. Since then he has had a number of senior roles at Aston Martin and Lotus and was also responsible for design, development of the Gibbs Aquada
