Awake Labs is creating a tool to empower care for neurological disorders, starting with autism, by providing a real-time indication of anxiety and recognizing behavior patterns.
The tool—called Reveal— will allow individuals and families to better manage anxiety to promote focus and learning in school, increase independence through early intervention, and improve transition to the workforce.

    Andrea is a tech geek based between Toronto, ON and Vancouver, BC. She is the CEO of Awake Labs, and alumna of the Next 36 and Singularity University. She studied Mechatronics Engineering and used to design, build, and compete autonomous soccer-playing robots. Recently named one of BCBusiness Magazine's 30 Under 30.     Paul Fijal is world-travelling bio-medical engineer, social entrepreneur and TEDx speaker. Paul has researched spinal cord injuries with UBC’s ICORD team, and volunteered with Surfs Up for Autism and ACT Community Training. He is dedicated to growing Vancouver’s reputation as a hub for social entrepreneurship and impact ventures through his involvement with Sauder’s S3i and Vancouver General Hospital’s new MedTech Development Hub.
